If the person receiving the registration falls under any of the following reasons for refusal to register, the registration will not be accepted.

• Those who have not passed two years from the date the registration of the outdoor advertising business was canceled.
• A corporation whose registration of the outdoor advertising business has been canceled and who has been an officer within 30 days before the cancellation date and has not passed two years from the cancellation date
• Those who have been ordered to suspend the outdoor advertising business and have not passed the suspension period.
• Those who have received more than a fine in violation of the Yokohama City Outdoor Advertising Ordinance or the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance of other local governments and have not passed two years since their execution was completed
• When an outdoor advertising agent is a minor and appoints legal representative, and the legal representative falls under any of the above.
• When an outdoor advertising company is a corporation and its officers fall under any of the above
• When the chief of business has not been appointed for each sales office

In addition, if there is a false statement in the registration application document or there is no significant fact, registration will not be accepted.

If there is a change in the registered items, a notification of the change must be made within 30 days from the date of the change.

In violation of the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance (including the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance established by local governments other than Yokohama City) based on the Outdoor Advertising Law by running an outdoor advertising business without receiving registration or receiving registration by illegal means. If you violate, you may be subject to cancellation of registration, suspension of business, fines, etc.

If an outdoor advertising agency falls under any of the following reasons, it may order cancellation of registration or suspension of business within six months.

• When the outdoor advertising business is registered by improper means.
• When it falls under the grounds for refusal of registration.
• When you do not submit a report or make a false report even though there has been a change in the registered items.
• When we violated outdoor advertising matter regulations based on the law or disposal based on these regulations.

There are the following penalties for registration.

• Imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of up to 500,000 yen

  ・　Those who have refused or hindered on-site inspection
• Fine of 50,000 yen or less
  ・　Those who have neglected to report business closure, etc.
  ・　Those who do not raise a sign indicating that they are registered as an outdoor advertising business
