About traffic of special vehicles on port roads

On port roads of Motoichi, when vehicles exceeding the maximum specified by the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance pass in order to prevent the structure of the road conservation and the danger of traffic, it is necessary to obtain traffic approval from Motoichi.

Vehicles with a special structure or a vehicle with special cargo to be transported and whose width, length, height, and total weight exceeds the maximum specified by the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance.

About port road, there are road managed by Motoichi (Port and Harbor Bureau) which is port manager and road which designated manager based on designated manager system to establish in Local Government Act manages.
Roads managed by each are stipulated in the notification of port facilities based on the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Yokohama City Port and Harbor Facility Ordinance. (link of notice) (outside site)
