About city planning proposal system

Due to the revision of the City Planning Act of 2002 (enforced on January 1, 2003), a proposal system for city planning was newly established.
This was established as a system to enable residents, etc. to be more independent and proactively involved in city planning, and landowners, town development NPOs, etc. meet certain conditions. Then, we can propose city planning to local governments.

If it is contents of city planning (restricted areas, etc.) excluding policies such as "maintenance, development of city planning area and policy of conservation", it is possible to propose all plan contents to city.

When we make plan suggestion based on the Town Planning and Zoning Act, it is necessary to meet the next condition.

1. Integrated area of 0.5 ha or more
2. Compliance with laws and regulations related to urban planning, such as the development and development of urban planning areas and the policies of the conservation (Article 6-2 of the City Planning Act)
3. Consent (number of people and area) of more than two-thirds of landowners in the proposed area

8. Materials on the progress of explanation to local residents
9. Other materials necessary for explanation of plan contents
