Yokohama Architecture Photo Contest 2023

As one of the initiatives to discover new attractions of buildings in Yokohama.

We hold Yokohama architecture photo contest which utilized Instagram!

Under the theme of "Yokohama x Architecture x People".

Buildings where people gather, scenery of people and buildings, casual moments between people and buildings, and buildings that are crowded with people

Please post a piece created by Yokohama, architecture and people.

The protagonist is architecture!

The winning entries will be panelized and exhibited in the lower part of Yokohama City Hall.

Born in Yokohama. A member of JPS (Japan Photographers Association).
The ports, towns, and people of Yokohama, which I have been photographed for many years, are named "Forest Observations."
Records the "memory" of the forest with its own sensibilities.

By taking pictures from the low position of the wooden deck, the middle lawn was condensed, and the perspective of the tracks added, Akarengasoko's presence further increased.
Jogging people are naturally in the scenery and feel dynamism.

It is a popular place in the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall, but it seems that the woman standing with this model seems to blend in naturally.
Shadows reflected on the floor slowly are captured in the angle of view as the subject, deepening the nuance.

Yokohama Architecture Photo Contest
Theme	Yokohama x Architecture x People Please post a piece created by Yokohama, architecture, and people, such as buildings where people gather, landscapes of people and buildings, casual moments between people and buildings, and buildings, and buildings full of people. The protagonist is architecture!
Target for recruitment	Buildings and People in Yokohama City Photos taken in the past are also included, but those with "#Yokohama Architecture Photo Contest 2023" added to posts before October 2, 2023 are not eligible.
Application period	From Tuesday, October 3, 2023 to Thursday, November 30, 2023
Results announcement	Scheduled for late February 2024 Winners' entries will be panelized and exhibited in the low-rise part of Yokohama City Hall.
How to apply	Posting on Instagram ①　Follow Yokohama City Public Architecture Instagram Account (@yokohama_kokyokenchiku) ②　Photographs according to the theme (photographs taken in the past are OK) ③　In your own account, post the following items in the caption and post. 　　"Building Name", "Title of Works", "#Yokohama Architecture Photo Contest 2023"
Eligibility for application	Anyone who meets all of the following items can participate regardless of professional, amateur, or nationality. ①　Those who can apply using the "Application Method" ②　Those whose products are delivered in Japan for the convenience of sending prize prizes. ③　Those who can agree to the implementation guidelines

Precautions	・If you submit more than one photo to a single post, only the first photo will be judged. ・Multiple works can be submitted by one person, but only one work per person. ・Entries can also be posted photos taken in the past, but must be unpublished items that have not been submitted to other photo contests. ・Entry photos must not infringe on the copyright, portrait right, or any other legal rights under the third party, the honor, privacy, etc. of the third party. ・If the person to be photographed as the subject can be identified, it shall be limited to those with the consent of the subject, and for troubles related to the infringement of portrait rights of the subject, unauthorized diversion of registered trademarks, copyright infringement, etc. Please note that the co-sponsor are not responsible. ・The main part of the subject should be a building. 2022 Exhibition

In fiscal 2022, under the theme of "From now on, like Yokohama," we recruited photographs of buildings in the city, and received a total of 816 applications.
