Project Overview
The Minato Mirai Grand Central Tower is a complex consisting of offices and commerce. In addition to being a high-performance office, we aimed to realize a facility that contributes to urban development and the global environment in the Minatomirai area.
In response to the adjacent Yokohama-bijutsukan and the main walking axle Grand Mall Park, we arranged large squares to create a rich public space by setting up seasonal planting, aquascape space where you can feel water and harbors, and public art everywhere.
The rhythmical horizontal louver of appearance serves as a light shelf that captures solar radiation shielding and indirect light into the room. In addition, at night, the exterior is illuminated using LED lighting, etc. to create a night landscape.
