Precautions when connecting to the sewer
Last Updated May 9, 2024
There are two types of sewage elimination methods: a diversion type (sewage and rainwater flow through separate sewer pipes) and a combined type (sewage and rainwater flow through the same sewer pipe). Therefore, care must be taken when connecting.
In addition, domestic wastewater and process wastewater are separate for specific business sites that apply direct punishment standards among plating factories, surface treatment factories that use acids, alkalis and organic chlorine solvents, laboratories and inspection laboratories. It is necessary to separate into drainage systems and connect to public sewers.
In addition, in Motoichi, these specific business sites have factory wastewater monitoring (displayed as "factory wastewater" on the lid) that allows process wastewater to be sampled at all times.
