The number of asbestos processing plants in Yokohama has been zero.

It is news about asbestos processing plant in Motoichi (business establishment which installs specific dust generation facility based on Air Pollution Control Act Article 18-6).

With the revision of the Air Pollution Control Law in June 1989, there were seven designated asbestos processing plants in the city that required notification. .
We confirmed that four of these seven factories had stopped handling asbestos between 1993 and 1998, and that the remaining three factories had stopped handling asbestos by the end of August 2006. We confirmed that we stopped handling.
As a result, as of September 1, 2006, the asbestos processing plant has disappeared in Motoichi.

In addition, as Motoichi performed air measurement at each site boundary (four directions) about three factories which stopped handling asbestos in 2006, we publish measurement result in the following.

Company A, Company B and Company C only worked on punching asbestos packing.
