※1 Even for existing facilities, if a major renovation with an increase in mercury emissions (structural change in which the facility scale increases by more than 50%), the emission standards for new facilities will be applied.

※2 Facilities that are currently installed on the enforcement date (April 1, 2018) (including those for which construction of installation has been started)

※3. The combustion capacity of a burner is expressed in terms of heavy oil. For the conversion of fuels other than heavy oil to heavy oil, please refer to “How to convert fuels other than heavy oil to the amount of heavy oil”.

※4 burner combustion capacity of less than 100,000 L/h of heavy oil equivalent

※5 For those with a mercury content of 0.05 mg or more in 1 kg of limestone used as raw materials, it is 140 μg / Nm3.

※6 Mercury recovery mandatory industrial waste is stipulated in the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.

※7 Mercury-containing recycled resources are stipulated in the Act on Prevention of Environmental Pollution by Mercury.
