Collection and transportation of oversized garbage, etc. (*) associated with temporary large amounts of garbage discharged from ordinary households

oversized garbage, etc., associated with temporary large amounts of garbage discharged from households, can be carried into the oversized garbage self-loading yard.
(Please refer to the page of oversized garbage's own import yard for details.)
Only waste from households can be brought in.
Please note that business waste cannot be brought in.

When you bring it to your own yard, necessary/required procedures is different. Please choose from the following.

When carrying oversized garbage into oversized garbage's own loading yard
When transporting small metals, dry batteries, spray cans, fluorescent lamp and light bulbs, plastic bottles, plastic containers and packaging, and plastic resources to Shinmeidai Stockyard
If the discharger applies for oversized garbage and only entrusts transportation (if the discharger wishes to reduce the oversized garbage processing fee, this procedure is also required.)

When carrying oversized garbage into the self-loading yard

◎Carry-in procedures

Download the “Application Form and Power of Attorney in Household Waste (oversized garbage, etc.)” (hereinafter referred to as “Application Form and Power of Attorney”) below, fill in the required items and fill out the form.
- Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Business Division (in charge of importing oversized garbage, etc. related to temporary large amounts of garbage)
Send an email to you.
The management and operation company of the self-loading yard will check the contents of the application form and power of attorney, and will notify you of the fee for each item by telephone within 3 business days in principle. In that case, please adjust the management and operation company and the import destination, import date and import time.
In addition, please note that you may confirm about application contents from the staff of Motoichi.
The self-loading yard management and operation company will return an application form and power of attorney stating the details of the adjustment by e-mail, so please check the contents.

◎Preparation for delivery

After receiving the commission from the management and operation company, please inform the discharger to prepare the necessary oversized garbage treatment seal.
In that case, please inform the discharger of the following three points.

oversized garbage seals can be purchased at financial institutions, post offices or convenience stores in the city.
※Since there is no expiration date on the collection seal, you can use the unnecessary seal next time. If you do not expect to use it in the future, please contact us. Also, please note that collection stickers cannot be reissued in case of damage or loss.
※Anything without a receipt is invalid.
Enter the name of the discharger and the license number of the general waste collection and transportation business license number (4 digits) in the name column of the oversized garbage disposal seal.
Please attach the oversized garbage processing sticker for each item as stated in the application and power of attorney.

◎On the day of import

Please carry in as described in the application form and power of attorney. Please note that items that are not listed cannot be brought in.
Please be sure to bring your application form and power of attorney.
IC card and carry-in confirmation are not required.
If the oversized garbage processing sticker is attached, be sure to carry it into the oversized garbage self-loading yard.

※The processing fee is 13 yen per kilogram. The weight is measured with a scale at the time of delivery.

◎On the day of import
Please carry in according to the application form and power of attorney. Please note that items that are not listed cannot be brought in.
oversized garbage processing seal, IC card and carry-in confirmation are not required.

When only transportation is entrusted (including cases where you wish to use the tax exemption system)

If the discharger has completed the necessary/required procedures (*) and only the transportation to the oversized garbage self-loading yard is outsourced to a licensed general waste collection and transportation company, the above procedures are not required.
Receive the application form and power of attorney from the discharger and transport it to the designated oversized garbage self-loading yard.
IC card and carry-in confirmation are not required.
※It is not possible for a licensed municipal waste collection and transportation company to act on your behalf.
※It is necessary for the discharger to complete the following two points in advance.

You must contact Oversized Garbage Reception Center and apply to bring it to oversized garbage's own loading yard.
※It is necessary for a licensed collection and transportation company to bring it to the self-loading yard.
All necessary oversized garbage processing seals must be prepared.

(Notes)
If there are any inquiries from citizens about the tax exemption system, please tell them to contact Oversized Garbage Reception Center without answering.

When transporting oversized garbage to an incineration plant or Minamihonmoku landfill

Please bring your IC card, import confirmation, application form and power of attorney. No prior procedure is required.
※In principle, IC cards cannot be used when bringing in to Minamihonmoku landfill, so only cash will be paid.
