Let's prevent heat shock for the coming cold season.
What is a heat shock?
This refers to sudden changes in temperature, such as moving from a warm room to a cold room, in which blood pressure fluctuates and the body is damaged. These fluctuations can affect the heart and blood vessels, leading to the development of myocardial infarction and stroke.
How to prevent heat shock
●7 points when taking a bath
1 Warm the bathroom when hot water is poured
2 Keep the dressing room warm
3 Set the hot water temperature to 41 degrees or less.
4 Put a word to your family before taking a bath
5 Take water before taking a bath
6 After pouring hot water
7 Soak in hot water within 10 minutes
●Measures for the whole house
1 Enhance the insulation of a house
2 Warm the toilets, corridors and entrances

Please use the "Tsuzuki Preventive Emergency" ambulance in case of emergency.
In order to save the "life that can be saved", every minute and every second is important. The number of emergency participations in Yokohama City during 2023 was the highest ever, and the average time from emergency participation to arrival at the site was extended by 8.8 minutes to 2 minutes during 2023 compared to 6.8 minutes during 2013. In order to respond to urgent cases and maintain an emergency system that citizens can feel safe, we ask for your cooperation in efforts to prevent illness and injuries and correct usage of ambulances.
