Sakae Ward is located in the southern part of Yokohama City, east and west, bordering Kanazawa Ward and Isogo Ward to the east, Konan Ward to the north, Totsuka Ward to the west, and Kamakura to the south.
Sakae fire department consists of the head office, the Toyoda, and the Kamigo branch office, and 130 staff members, including chief, are responsible for fire prevention, disaster prevention and emergency services.
