The Family Disaster Prevention System is a training system that begins with the self support and leads to community disaster prevention leaders. The purpose is to allow as many citizens as possible to take this training and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills related to fire and disaster prevention.

Those who live in Kanagawa Ward and are 15 years old or older (those who have taken the course in the past can also take the course.)
・Those who wish to receive individual training
・A person recommended by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations

Please apply by the following method at least one week before the event date.
※Each training session will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached.

・Call Kanagawa fire department: 045-316-0119 (9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays)

・Please note that the number of applications may be adjusted for a large number of applications.
(If there is no contact from the fire department, please come to the desired date.)
・Please come in easy-to-move clothes because it will be accompanied by practical training.
・Parking is not available, so please use public transportation.
・Training may be canceled due to weather warnings etc. are announced or the spread of new coronavirus infection.

・Kanagawa fire department wants to install fire alarms for homes in elderly and disabled households who are at high risk of death due to fires in Kanagawa Ward.

２．Please call Kanagawa fire department or come to the counter.
３．Check the required items and adjust the installation schedule, and the fire department prevention staff will visit you at a later date.

Citizens can download the application form prescribed by the Fire Service Law and the Fire Prevention Ordinance, registration form, and the "E-mail Web119 Reporting System" submitted to City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau from this page. In addition, you can download illustrations, so please use them for your work and everyday life.

If you wish to attend or provide training guidance (such as how to use fire extinguisher) during the fire drills, please contact your fire department in charge in advance. When making a request over the phone, please create the "Staff Dispatch Request Form" below and send a fax or e-mail so that there is no discrepancy in understanding the contents with the fire department.

When conducting fire drills, etc. in accordance with Article 3 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Fire Services Act, please contact the fire department in advance, or submit documents with required items to the Kanagawa fire department window or mail it.
※However, if you need a copy of the fire department reception stamp, please bring two copies of the main and vice to the counter, or in the case of mailing, please enclose a reply envelope. Please note that we will not reply by fax.
