In order to protect yourself and your family in the event of an earthquake, it is important to be prepared on a daily basis, such as taking measures to prevent furniture from falling.

If you do not prepare, you may not only be injured due to falling furniture, but also objects placed on the furniture may fall into electrical appliances, etc., and the film of the power cord may break, causing a fire.
In addition, a fire may occur because a flammable object has fallen into the outlet of the outlet.

Preventing furniture from falling is the basis of reduce disaster damage's action. Fix the furniture as a daily preparation, and place the furniture in a safe place in case the furniture falls.

In addition, let's work on installing a seismic breaker that is effective for countermeasures against power-on fires.

In Yokohama-shi, we perform installation of fall prevention equipment free of charge to support approach of furniture fall prevention measures. (Equipment fee will be borne by the applicant.)

All cohabitants must be one of the following items 1 to 6:

1. 65 years old or older
2. Have been issued a certificate of the physically disabled
3. I have been granted a love notebook (care book)
4. Received the Health and Welfare Handbook for Mentally Handicapped
5. Certified as requiring nursing care or support under the Nursing Care Insurance Law
6. Junior high school students and younger

※Households with "those who graduated from junior high school" to "64 years or younger" are not eligible for this system unless they fall under items 2 to 5.

• Preliminary surveys and installation work will be carried out by the Yokohama City Architects Office Association.
• The mounting staff visits by car to bring the necessary equipment for the work.
• At the time of investigation and work, please be present at the applicant.
• Please prepare a document that shows your date of birth, a certificate of disability, a long-term care insurance card, etc. to confirm that you are the target household at the time of the first visit. (It is not necessary to submit a copy.)
• In addition to preparing the equipment yourself, you can also prepare it by the Yokohama City Architects Office Association.
• You may not be able to install the fall prevention equipment you have prepared yourself. Please contact us at the time of your first visit.
• Up to two furniture that can be mounted on behalf of the building.
• It may take some time from application to installation.
• The application details will be shared with the association of Yokohama City Architects Office Association.
• If you have installed this business in the past, you cannot apply again.

Preliminary surveys and installation work will be carried out by the Yokohama City Architects Office Association. The mounting staff will measure the temperature, and at the time of the visit, take thorough measures against infectious diseases such as wearing a mask and disinfecting alcohol on fingers.
