About progress of city street Kamishirane Route 99 road improvement business

City Road Kamishirane Line 99 (commonly known as Shirane-dori St.) is an important bus route with a length of 2.45 km connecting Nakahara Kaido and Route 1.
However, because the width of the road was narrow and there were few sidewalks, pedestrian safety could not be ensured, and it was difficult for large vehicles to pass each other, which hindered traffic.
In order to develop roads and sidewalks that allow safe traffic, Asahi Public Works Office has been promoting road widening projects in six areas.
