1.Group introduction
About 170 years ago, at the end of the Edo period, young people in the village learned and told Edo and Kanda music during the off-farm season.
It is said to be the current "Kasa Hayashi". After that, we continued to increase and decrease the number of people.
The number has increased for about 20 years, and currently 25 people, including 2 children, are active regularly.
Activities are diverse, including summer festivals in neighboring Neighborhood Associations, shrine festivals, New Year's lion dance, facility comfort, and elementary school extracurricular classes.
We are engaged in a number of activities. We also have exchanges with nearby Ichizawa Hayashi. In 2008, Yokohama City
It was recognized as an intangible folk cultural property protection organization.
2.Through activities-a word from members-
◆The charm of Kasabayashi
The charm of the music is that you can enjoy the world and atmosphere different from everyday life. Directly transmitted from person to person instead of music score
What we have done and performances and performances colored with traditional tools create a comfortable world of music.
◆How I started and why I continued
"I want to contribute to the community locally," "I feel it's fun to listen to it," "I want to interact with local members."
And how did you get started? It takes five years to be able to hit the drum firmly, and it is rugged to improve.
Despite this, we continue our activities to enjoy interacting with local people and contributing to the community.
◆To foster successors
Some of the members of the preservation society have continued from elementary school. At the Kasahayashi Preservation Society, Tsurugamine Elementary School
We value connections with local elementary schools, such as extracurricular classes at schools, and strive to foster successors.
We are also looking forward to the participation of local and young people. Enjoy Kasabayashi at various events and get interested.
If you have it, please call me. Those who wish can also practice.
