About COVID-19 infection

When symptoms such as fever appear

  • Please use the antigen test kit for self-examination. If the symptoms are mild, start recuperation at home.
  • Elderly people, those with underlying diseases, or if the symptoms are severe, consult a medical institution such as your GP.
  • There are no restrictions on employment or daily life behavior in the event of infection based on the Infectious Diseases Law.

About medical expenses

  • From April 1, 2024, Reiwa 6th, we shifted to a normal medical system, and public expenditure burden was finished.
  • You will be charged a normal window according to medical expenses's out-of-pocket ratio.
  • In medical insurance, the high medical costs system has been established for monthly window charges (including the cost of therapeutic drugs), and there is no self-pay that exceeds the limit according to income.

Positive patients and close contacts

Period during which it is recommended to refrain from going out

  • Especially since the risk of infecting others for 5 days after onset, it is recommended that you refrain from going out for 5 days with the onset date as the 0th day.
  • If symptoms persists on the 5th day, it is recommended that you refrain from going out until the fever drops and symptoms such as sputum and sore throat are relieved and about 24 hours have passed. If the symptoms are severe, consult your doctor.
  • Until 10 days have passed, there is a possibility of virus discharge, so be careful not to pass around you, such as wearing a non-woven mask or refrain from contacting high-risk people such as the elderly. If symptoms such as coughing or sneezing continue 10 days after onset, wear a mask to keep cough etiquette by wearing a mask.

About family and living together

You are not required to refrain from going out in accordance with the law as a "close contact".

  • If possible, separate rooms and take care of the infected family should be taken care of as limited as possible.
  • If you go out, please pay attention to your physical condition for the person with COVID-19 as 0 days, especially for 5 days.
  • It may develop until the 7th day.
  • Please take basic measures against infection such as hand hygiene and ventilation.
  • Consider wearing a non-woven mask and refraining from contacting people at high risk of illness, such as the elderly.

Requests for reporting to public health centers and responsible departments

②Infections of 10 or more or half of all users have occurred
