Notification of change of qualification and payment and consultation of Long-term Care Insurance Premium

The first insured person (65 years old or older) needs report in the following cases:

1 When a person 65 years or older transfers Address

  • Transference from outside the city
  • Transfer out of the city
  • Relocation within the ward
  • Transfer to another ward in the city ... In this case, report at the ward office of New Address

2 When a person 65 years or older dies

3 When the next change occurs in a household with a person 65 years or older

  • Increase/decrease in household members
  • Name change
  • Change of Relationship

The above notification requires a The Long-term Care Insurance insured person's card.

For those who are certified as requiring long-term care, those who are 40 years old or older and under 65 years old) who have been certified as requiring long-term care.

Consultation regarding payment of Long-term Care Insurance Premium

If it is difficult to pay Long-term Care Insurance Premium due to disaster, unemployment, bankruptcy, etc., please contact National Health Insurance Section.
If you have been in arrears with Long-term Care Insurance Premium for a long time (more than one year), you will have to pay the full cost of using The Long-term Care Insurance services. (If you apply to the ward office, your insurance benefits will be refunded at a later date.)
In addition, if Long-term Care Insurance Premium is delinquent for more than two years from the due date and cannot be paid due to prescription, the out-of-pocket ratio of insurance benefits will be raised to 30% for a certain period depending on the period.
