Realization of Town Development Policy 5-1
Last Updated January 16, 2019
5-1. Seseragi Plan and Natural Path
As part of "town development that extends" hometown "", we aimed to reproduce the murmuring in a new city in order to preserve the scenery of brooks flowing on the side of the rice field since ancient times.
The water source of the murmuring is not an artificial one, but a natural water cycle, and a pond is created in the park to store the rain and the spring water that oozes out, so that it flows slowly.
In addition, in order to harmonize with such a murmuring space, parks and green roads do not use artificial objects such as concrete, asphalt, tiles, and blocks as much as possible, and soil and stones.
5-2. Development of Biosa Protected Areas
In order to actively preserve the green environment, we have set up spaces at three locations: Chigasaki Park, Kamoike Park, and Tsuzuki Chuo Park, such as preventing humans from entering in part of the forest area.
It is gently watched the habitat of various plants, animals, insects, birds, and more.
5-3. Preservation of cultural properties with hometown
There have been many shrines and temples in this area since ancient times. In the Kohoku New Town business, shrines and temples are left in conjunction with the park to provide a new seasonal festival and a place to commemorate life that will become a memory of the hometown. .
Also, since the end of Edo, the Mount Fuji religion was thriving in this area, and seven Fuji mounds were built, one of which, Yamada Fuji, was left in the park or reproduced in the park. There is also.
5-4. Utilization of existing trees
The coppice forest in the New Town was made of standing trees with several trees growing from the root of a tree in order to cut the trees at the root of a tree to take firewood and charcoal.
This landscape of the coppice forest is a representative landscape that represents the hometown that has been created by those who have been farming here for many years, and can sneak in the past life culture.
In the development of Kohoku New Town, there was an opinion to plant new and inexpensive young trees, but in order to preserve the scenery of the hometown, we dared to transplant as many mountain trees as possible into parks and green roads.
5-5. Creating a participatory park
Regarding the design of the park, through games and discussions with the children in the neighborhood, they shared their dreams of "I want to play like this in such a park" while expanding the circle of friends.
After repeated meetings several times, while making models, we put together everyone's opinions into one plan and ordered construction.
In addition, during the construction stage, children made mosaic flats used for the pavement of the park and made totem poles.
