What is Food Education Information Exchange Meeting?

Staff (childcare facilities, kindergartens, public elementary schools, public junior high schools, Health and Welfare Center, healthmates) engaged in food education in the city cooperate and exchange information and various initiatives with the aim of "connected food education". We aim to promote lifelong health so that not only children but also the whole family can spend well.

(Decided in 2014 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the ward administration.)

This year's first food education information exchange meeting was held. Thirty facilities in the city participated, and shared issues related to food education at each facility and considered ideas for solving the issues through group work.

○They are struggling with ingredients that aren't eaten at home (especially fish, fruits, vegetables, etc.)
○Children's resistance to leaving food is becoming less resistant.

・Guidance on how to eat. Show the ingredients. Let's start with a bite.
・Even if you have a lot of leftover food, you can take it into school lunch. → By the time of graduation, most children will be able to eat.
・After returning home, the menu that was delicious, I will make delicious school lunch using ingredients that are difficult to use.
・Distributed recipes that were popular with children to parents.
・Raising yourself, touching and experiencing it, and devising the appearance by cutting, etc., you will be motivated to eat.
・Carry it to your mouth like your favorite character. If you eat it, you will be able to make it more motivated.
・Have advised people, such as athletes and princesses, advise them to eat well-balanced.
○They tend to prefer soft things, and the ability to chew and swallow are weakening.・Shows an example of how a nursery teacher bites with gestures.
・Practice chewing by providing school lunch of form and hardness suited to age and age.
○Food bias (leave staple food, etc.) due to changes in consciousness of body shape after the upper grades of elementary school・After elementary school students, they have the opportunity to learn about what they are eating for.
・Utilize health news and food education news to share information with home.
