A-bomb survivor support measures project

Last Updated July 20, 2020

In Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama City, based on national policies, we carry out support projects such as the implementation of the physical checkup, the assistance of the medical expenses, and the provision of various benefits.
In addition, from the standpoint of complementing national policies, we have enhanced the content of measures such as the provision of medical expenses for children of A-bomb survivors as a prefectural and city-only project. In April 2001, we started a subsidy program for A-bomb survivors using The Long-term Care Insurance.
As there is detailed rule about contents of assistance, allowance and receipt qualification, method of application, please refer to ward office.
