In Seya Ward, we promote book-reading activities in cooperation with ward office, library, school and local volunteers.

We ride about 3,000 books and are bookmobile going around regularly.

Targeting at the small, junior high students, we carry out Seya Ward reading stamp rally.
When you can get one stamp when we read one book and raise 11 stamps, we can change with souvenir.
We read many books by all means, and let's get souvenir!

In this business, we support book-reading activities of children in cooperation with Yokohama FC!
We publish message from captain south player in stamp rally mount!
For introduction of book which Yokohama FC player wants to recommend to the small, junior high student in school library or Seya library in future and the small, junior high student
"Let's read book! We started exhibition by message at any time.

We start the use of service of electronic book, electronic magazine free reading!
Of "every month reading on 23rd, for day", start service that electronic book, electronic magazine can use in Seya library from June 23.
As for the electronic book, as for blue sky library, the electronic magazine, back number can read share more than 300 latest issues for up to one year, too.
We can extend letter and we can read plural books, magazines at one terminal and include merit of electronic book.

We are connected to library setting Wi-Fi and are available.
※Total number of people includes limit. To ten people in total (include tablet terminal)
When there are many use applicants, we appoint the use time.
In addition, only the hall can use this service.
※From the viewpoint of infectious disease extended measures, we carry out sterilization of tablet terminal thoroughly.
※By the opening situation of library, you may not use service.
※Because used all of you use library in peace, please cooperate with wearing of mask.
The second Seya Ward book-reading activities promotion target
"Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan" (from 2014 to 2018) devised based on "the regulations (the April, 2014 enforcement) about promotion of book-reading activities of Yokohama citizen" folded after the establishment after five years and, in Yokohama-shi, devised the second plan (from 2019 to 2005).
Therefore we reviewed result and task of the first Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan period (from 2014 to 2018) in the Seya Ward and revised "Seya Ward book-reading activities promotion aim".

Do you not do time for commuting, attending school in time for reading?
We have you donate book from by offer of shelf and inhabitants of a ward from Seya Rotary Club by offer of place from Sagami Railway Co., Ltd. and install "Seyamaru library" in Seya Station and Mitsukyo Station.
In the case of outing, you have favorite book, and please return to shelf if you finish reading.
