Promotion of reading activities
Seya Ward promotes reading activities in cooperation with ward offices, libraries, schools and local volunteers.

Seya Ward Reading Event Calendar
Reading-related events held at public facilities in Seya Ward.
Please let Regional Promotion Division know about reading activity promotion facility in ward and group holding event.
※Please cooperate with wearing a mask when participating in the event.

Second Seya Ward Reading Activity Promotion Target
Five years have passed since the "Yokohama Citizen's Reading Activity Promotion Plan (FY2016-Heisei 30)" formulated based on the "Ordinance on Promotion of Reading Activities of Yokohama Citizen (enforced in April 2014)" was enacted. Therefore, Yokohama City has formulated the second plan (from the year to the fifth year).
Therefore, Seya Ward reviewed the results and issues during the first Yokohama Citizen Reading Activity Promotion Plan period (FY2014-FY2014) and revised the Seya Ward Reading Activity Promotion Target.

Why don't you make commuting and going to school a reading time?
Sagami Railway Co., Ltd. provides a place, Seya Rotary Club provides shelves, and residents donate books, and Seyamaru Bunko has been set up at Seya Station and Mitsukyo Station. .
Please bring your favorite book when you go out and return it to the shelf after reading.
