Seya Ward evacuation shelter
evacuation shelter is a shelter for people who are unable to live at home due to collapse of their homes during an earthquake. Seya Ward has designated elementary and junior high schools as evacuation centers.

Functions of evacuation shelter
● Places where people who have lost their homes due to damage such as damage caused by the earthquake temporarily live an evacuation life
● Stockpiling of the minimum amount of food, water, daily necessities, etc. required by evacuees immediately after the disaster
● Stockpiling of disaster prevention equipment and materials necessary for rescue and rescue activities
● Information collection and provision of safety information, evacuation information, damage information, etc.
● Public relations bases such as posting news from ward offices
● Distribution of relief supplies such as food and water from all over the country
Management of evacuation shelter
evacuation shelter is led by the evacuation shelter Steering Committee, which is comprised of representatives of local communities, schools and ward offices. The evacuees are important staff of evacuation shelter. In order to live an evacuation life, evacuees need to play their roles fairly and operate.
