Check ups for Infants and Toddlers

In ward office, we carry out infant health examination of 4-month-old child, 1 year and 6-month-old child, 3-year-old child.

Individual notice will be sent to the target person one month before the medical examination date.
If it is not convenient on the date of the medical examination described in the individual notice, please contact the Sakae Ward Office Children and Families Support Division (894-8410).
Infant health checkups are an opportunity to check the growth of your child at the milestone of growth and support child care, and it is important to have them take them at a better time.

※Due to the adjustment of the number of people, you may have passed the age of the medical examination, or you may be notified on the consultation date different from the scheduled date.
If there is no particular problem, please come to the medical examination date that was announced in the announcement. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

・Reception will be held in two separate hours. Please come to Reception hours. Please note that the order may be changed depending on the situation.

・You will not be able to eat at the check-up venue. Medical examinations will start immediately after the reception, so it is recommended that you complete your meal in advance.

・If you have any physical condition, please refrain from consulting. Please contact the Sakae Ward Office Children and Families Support Division (894-8410) in the case of inconvenience. We will inform you of the next medical examination date.

・The parking lot is expected to be crowded, so if you come by car, please come with plenty of time.

・Thank you for your cooperation in taking out used diapers.

You can receive a free health consultation (medical examination) three times free of charge using the “Medical Institution Check ups for Infants and Toddlers Consultation Voucher” in the separate Maternal and Child Health Handbook.
(1st month after birth, 2nd 7 months, 3rd time 12 months after birth)
If you are a child who falls under the age of the consultation card, be sure to consult.
※Please use it within the validity period indicated on the consultation slip.
※As we do not tell about medical examination individually, please be sure to consult a medical institution in Yokohama within the validity period.
※We do not reissue consultation slips due to loss, etc.

In addition, please confirm beforehand as conduct dates vary according to medical institution.
※Medical examinations are not available at medical institutions outside Yokohama City.
※Reimbursement payment (refund) for expenses when consulted outside the city is not possible.
