Nishi Ward Bright Election Promotion Council
Last Updated November 15, 2024
I would like to introduce the activities of the Nishi Ward Bright Election Promotion Council.
1.What is a bright election promotion campaign?
3.Introduction of Election Characters
We live under democratic politics. In democratic politics, elected representatives reflect our opinions and requests in politics. If the election to select the representative is not held fairly, the foundation of democracy will be shaken.
In addition, we need to be aware of our people so that we do not vote solely for acquisitions, offerings, and personality-in-laws. In this way, the movement in which the government and the private sector unite to eliminate election crimes and distorted elections and promote elections in which our intentions are correctly reflected in politics is called the "bright election promotion campaign". .
The bright election promotion council in Nishi Ward consists of 11 promotion committee members and about 100 promotion members (people who practice and promote the business and movement of the council). (As of November 20, 2023)

Character | Explanation |
---|---|
| It is an election mascot of the Yokohama City Election Commission, modeled on a lighthouse. |
| Like Ikot-chan, Ikot Jr. (Junior) is working hard as a mascot of the Yokohama Election Commission. It has appeared in various places on this website. They are also active in panels at various stations on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, as well as circulation boards at Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations. |
| This is the image character of the bright election promotion council. It has feathers on the back so that it flutters to realize a bright election. This Meisukun, born in April 2000, actually uses a ballot box as a motif. The two vertical lines on the head represent the ballot slot. The name "Mei" comes from the bright election "Mei" and the "Sui" comes from the promotion "Shu". |
