2011 Nishi Ward "Nikomachi" inhabitants questionnaire results

First of all,
Nishi Ward is a historic city that has developed as a commercial and cultural center of Yokohama since its opening, but due to the development of the Minato Mirai 21 district and the construction of urban condominiums, the population has increased by about 20% over the past decade.
In fiscal 2011, Nishi Ward Office conducted a "Nikomachi inhabitant of a ward questionnaire" in fiscal 2011 to ask all residents of the city, from those who are still in Nishi WardNishi Ward to those who have lived for a long time.
Outline of implementation
・Survey target: 5,000 men and women aged 20 and over living in Nishi Ward (including 178 foreigners)
・Extraction method: Random sampling from Basic Resident Register and non-Japanese registration Original Form
・Survey method: Questionnaire method by mail
・Response rate: 48.9% (2,445 valid respondents)
・Survey period: From November 24 to December 5, 2011
