Distribution of sandbags

Nishi Public Works Office distributes sandbags to prevent floods caused by heavy rains.
In addition, seven sandbag stations have been set up around Yokohama Station in preparation for a large typhoon.
Precautions on the distribution of sandbags
・If you need sandbags, please come to Nishi Public Works Office, Yokohama City (12-6 Hamamatsucho, Nishi Ward).
・Sandbags are distributed at Hours (weekdays 8: 45-17: 00 on weekdays).
・Please inform us of the desired quantity in advance. (Because we want to distribute to many people, there is an upper limit on the amount of distribution per time.)
・If you have any questions, please contact the West Public Works Office Administration Section.
About sandbag station
[How to use]
Please bring the required amount out of the amount stored at the seven sandbag stations.
Store the used sandbags yourself in case of the next opportunity, and refill it into a new bag when there is a hole in the bag.
(Do not return to the station, as they often have holes in the bag and cannot be reused because they have holes in the bag.)
