Komachi Plan (Nishi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan)

　Because figure of town which we should aim at does not change, we inherit basic philosophy from the time of the first plan development and six basic goals of ward overall plan. On top of that, we will respond to issues that have emerged during the promotion of the Second Phase Plan and make plans based on social changes, etc., and promote initiatives.

　Through the process of formulating and promoting the plan, we aim to enhance regional power so that local independent problem solving can proceed, and formulate it in line with the following three directions.
　[Direction 1] We expand leader of local connection, new community-based welfare.
　[Direction 2] We will strengthen the framework for solving specific regional issues.
　[Direction 3] We will promote the creation of a system that supports people who need support in the community.

It consists of "plan according to district" and "whole ward plan".
　The “District Plan” is a plan in which the regional alliance Neighborhood Associations is used as an area to identify issues and take the initiative in addressing them. "Whole ward plan" is plan to push forward approach for problem solution common to the whole ward in addition to approach to support plan according to district and local activity and support "plan according to district".

Unikomachi Forum　　

　　No matter how old or in any situation, in order to continue living in a familiar area, it is necessary for the local community to take the initiative in promoting the community development in accordance with their respective characteristics. At the Nikomachi Forum, we will announce that the local people are working on and devising in the community while considering social conditions and local needs. The event is held with the aim of conveying the purpose of the “Nikomachi Plan” to various people through sharing local issues and examining solutions with instructors.
