What is the Housing and Land Statistics Survey?
The Housing and Land Statistics Survey is a basic statistical survey based on the "Statistics Law".
Investigate the actual situation of housing in Japan and buildings where people live outside of the house, the status of ownership of houses and land other than the current residence, and the actual situation of households living in houses, etc., and clarify the current situation and trends by country and region This is a survey aimed at obtaining basic data on various measures related to living life.
The results of this survey are used as basic data for planning, drafting, and evaluating various measures such as the Basic Plan for Living Life and Land Use Planning, which are created based on the Basic Law on Living Life.
Status of Statistical Investigators
Investigators are local government officials with special positions appointed by the prefectural governor based on the recommendation of the municipality.
If a person has an accident during an investigation, it will be compensated as a public affairs accident.
