Child safety measures

We entrust patrol around elementary school in ward by blue pato (car equipped with blue rotating light) and carry out.

Elementary schools and nursery schools in the city are divided into areas, and patrols (patrol alerts) are carried out throughout the year by fire trucks, mainly during and from school hours.

Children 110th House Plate

The Minami Ward PTA Liaison Council Children's Safety Liaison Council is a place where children can rush to protect themselves when they go to and from school or play and feel dangerous. The Children's Safety Liaison Committee is actively engaged in activities.
Currently, in Minami Ward, with the cooperation of companies, shops, families, etc., plates are posted at about 2,500 locations at 17 schools. The Minami Ward Office supports printing of the Children's 110th House Map, which indicates the location where the plate is posted.
We would like cooperation of "child 110th house" by all means to watch children in the whole area and bring up children healthy.

In March 2023, personal alarm was distributed to 19 first-year students (including two private schools) in the ward.

South police department provides information on crime status and crime information when a crime occurs frequently or is expected to occur in the event of a crime.
The Minami Ward Office will distribute crime and anti-crime program information centered on this "Nan Police Fax Information" to mobile phones and PCs at least once a week! Please make use of this product for the safety of local children.
