Crime occurrence information in Minami Ward

　A special fraud (refund fraud) case has occurred in Minami Ward where cash cards and passbooks are deceived.
　There is a phone call from a man pretending to be a ward office employee in the name of the refund procedure for insurance premiums, and it is a method in which a person pretending to be a bank association or financial institution who appeared at home.
　To avoid answering unnecessary calls, police department recommends registering an answering machine or using a phone with a nuisance call prevention function.
　In addition, ward offices, banking associations, and financial institutions do not keep passbooks and cash cards or ask for PINs. Insurance premiums and refunds of medical expenses require written procedures and will not be made by telephone or bank ATMs.
