This is a campaign in which about 90,000 volunteers nationwide are working in each region with the goal.

What is a bright election promotion council?

It is a private organization that works with the aim of clean elections without fraud and participation in total voting, and is set up in prefectures and municipalities nationwide.
In Yokohama, there are bright election promotion councils in the city and each ward.

About Midori Ward bright election enlightenment mascot character "Midsen-kun"

"Midsen-kun," a bright election enlightenment mascot in Midori Ward.
The Midori Ward Bright Election Promotion Council recruited mascot illustrations and names from junior high school students in the ward to establish a bright election awareness mascot for Midori Ward.
As a result, there were 48 entries, and after a popular vote at each election enlightenment event held in the fall of 2022 and a strict examination, "Midsen-kun" was selected as the best work.
It was designed with the image of a ballot box in the work of Yuka Morimoto.
We are working hard to raise the election together from the unified local election in April 2023.
