The trees in the park are growing too much

Last update date August 7, 2020

Park trees are pruned about once every several years, depending on the type of tree, for the purpose of promoting healthy growth of trees. In addition, when branches cross the border of the adjacent private house, or when the branches and leaves are too thick and the visibility in the park is poor, the branches are cut with priority.
Logging (cutting from the root) is not desirable because it is precious green, but if the trees grow and the park is dark, the visibility is poor, and there is a problem on anti-crime program, or if the number of trees needs to be adjusted, some trees may be cut down in consultation with local people.
In addition, if the tree is damaged and there is a risk of falling trees, we cut down for safety. If you have any consultation, we will check the situation and take measures such as cutting and cutting down branches as necessary.

In addition, if you have any questions about trees in the park, please consult Public Works Office.

There are pests in trees in the park

In principle, the park does not spray chemicals for pest control. If a large number of pests occur, we will take measures such as cutting the entire branch. If you find a pest, please contact us as soon as possible before the insect spreads.

If you have any questions about the trees in the park, please contact Public Works Office.

※In addition, please see "park Q & A of Green Environment Bureau" for details.
