Flush toilet subsidy and loan system

In order to promote the flushing of toilets and the abolition of septic tanks, we have established a subsidy (repayment not required) and a loan (repayment for 36 months, interest-free).
Applicable to individuals and ordinary corporations. (The loan is for individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises.)
Procedures
- As a general rule, apply within 3 years of becoming a processing area. (Even if you exceed 3 years, you may be able to receive grants or loans for reasons, so please consult with Public Works Office.)
- The necessary procedures are requested to the designated construction shop that ordered the construction, and the designated construction shop applied.
Payment of the difference
- Grants and loans are transferred from the city to the designated construction shop.
You will pay the difference between the total construction cost minus the subsidy and loan to the designated construction shop.
Loan conditions
- Being capable of repaying loans
- You must have a joint guarantor. The joint guarantor must have the guarantee ability and, in principle, must be a resident of the city. If you live in the same house, you cannot be a joint guarantor.
Method of repayment
- Fund transfer
- Only for residents of the city, fund transfer can be used at the handling financial institution of Motoichi.
- Delivery Notice
- Environmental Planning Bureau will send you a delivery notice with 36 spells. Please pay at the financial institution within the payment deadline every month.
Documents to be prepared
Receiving general grants and loans
- Flush Toilet Equipment Fund Subsidy / Loan Application Form
- If the loan is received, the signature of the joint guarantor. In addition, the private seal certificate and borrowed letter of the person and the guarantor.
When receiving special grants (Type 1 and Type 2)
- Please contact Public Works Office for various certificates required.

Construction that is not covered by the subsidy and loan system
- At the same time as the complete renovation of the house
- Carpenter work such as floor replacement and wall repainting
