What is the Young Employee Award and Female Employee Award?

This system recognizes young and female employees who are active in construction work sites.

The working population of the construction industry decreased by about 2 million in about 30 years to about 6.8 million in 1995 and about 4.8 million in 2023. In addition, the average age of the current working population is said to be between the late 40s and early 50s, so the proportion of age groups who will retire in the next 10 years is high, so the decline in the working population is expected to accelerate even more than ever. It is believed that
In cooperation with Midori Public Works Office, Yokohama City, the Yokohama Construction Industry Association (Midori Ward Association) hopes to increase the willingness to work in the construction industry by establishing an award system for young and female employees working at construction sites.
I hope that this will help the general public know the young and female employees who are active in the construction industry, and lead to the desire to work in the construction industry.

What is the Yokohama Construction Industry Association (Midori Ward Association)?

A construction company in Yokohama City is engaged in daily maintenance of living infrastructure such as roads and water and sewage systems, educational facilities such as schools, and disaster prevention activities to protect citizens from disasters.
Currently, Midori Ward has 16 members.
