Marsk AS ※The green methanol fuel containership "Astrid Maersk" entered Yokohama Port for the first time, and a naming ceremony was held. The naming ceremony for an ultra-large green methanol container ship of approximately 16,000 units is the second in the world and the first in Japan, following the Korea held on January 26.
I presented a commemorative shield of naming to the captain and gave a congratulatory greeting.
Going forward, we will continue to make Yokohama Port Japan's first green methanol supply base and accelerate our efforts toward the formation of carbon neutral ports and contribute to the decarbonization of Japan and around the world.
