In April 2024, Yokohama City has begun sales of "Hamako Electric Plus", a renewable energy electricity menu derived from incineration plants in the city, and has concluded a partnership agreement with the aim of realizing Zero Carbon Yokohama decarbonization by 2050.
This time, we had you agree with the purpose of this project and presented a letter of appreciation to 17 businesses in the city who used the electricity. Going forward, we will continue to work on the spread of renewable energy through local production for local consumption and wide-area collaboration, and will continue to take on the challenge of realizing decarbonization.
