We visited "2022 Yokohama Asahi Jazz Festival", a summer outdoor music event representing Asahi Ward. Since its 30th anniversary in 2019, it has been held for the first time in three years due to the impact of COVID-19.
The day was blessed with good weather, and amateur bands and professional musicians who won the audition performed powerfully, and fans of all ages listened to the sound of jazz.
We are very proud that this event, which can be enjoyed casually while sticking to the sound of real jazz, is being held by citizen volunteers, from planning to operation.
