Yokohama City Library celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. The oldest Chuo-toshokan has about 1.7 million books and materials. Among them, there are many valuable materials such as ukiyo-e and historical maps, which are digitized and can be viewed freely on the Internet.
In the exhibition corner on the first floor, there are exhibits that can be used as a reference for free research so that children can have a fun summer vacation.
In addition to 18 libraries in the city, there are mobile libraries and book agency bases. We will work hard to provide services that meet the various needs of citizens.
