We visited a municipal hospital where intensive care units, operating rooms, and beds dedicated to infectious diseases were expanded due to redevelopment two years ago.
This hospital accepts many severely ill patients as an advanced acute care hospital, and responds to COVID-19 infection as a designated medical institution.
It boasts one of the top-class medical experience in Japan, and has received high praise, including being selected as one of the best hospitals rankings by overseas media.
