Yokohama City has concluded an agreement with Kawasaki City for the purpose of expanding the use of next-generation energy such as hydrogen in the coastal area, which plays a central role in the local economy. On the 26th, Mayor Fukuda Kawasaki came to the agency and held a signing ceremony. .
In order to effectively promote decarbonization of the coastal area of Yokohama City, we are promoting initiatives in cooperation with private businesses, but many businesses also have offices in Kawasaki City, and both Kawasaki and Yokohama City Cooperation is strongly desired. We will further strengthen cooperation between Kawasaki City, which promotes the Kawasaki Carbon Neutral Complex Initiative, and Yokohama City, which has Japan's leading ports, to form Japan's largest supply chain for next-generation energy such as hydrogen, and lead Japan's decarbonization.
