A round-table conference was held with the governor of Kuroiwa Kanagawa Prefecture, Mayor Fukuda Kawasaki Fukuda and Mayor Motomura Sagamihara at the Yokohama City Hall.
At the round-table conference, in order to make effective use of limited resources and ensure that truly necessary services are delivered to those who need them in a declining population, declining birthrate and aging society. It is necessary to clarify the division of roles, develop sustainable administrative administration, and improve administrative efficiency. Therefore, we exchanged frank opinions in the four prefectures and cities on large city systems such as the special autonomous city concept, and shared their ideas.
In addition, we agreed to hold discussions at the top level of the governor and the three mayors in order to share the issues of the prefecture and the designated city, and to resolve them from the perspective of residents.
We will continue to discuss with the four parties to resolve administrative issues.
