Thursday, April 28 I went to the Ukraine Exchange Cafe.

Last update date May 2, 2022

On April 28th, we visited the Ukrainian Exchange Cafe Druzay, which opened at the Yokohama International Cooperation Center in Pacifico-yokohama. This cafe was established as part of the "All Yokohama Support Package" to support those who have been evacuated from Ukraine to Yokohama, where evacuees can exchange and exchange information in their native language with peace of mind, and offer proposals from citizens and businesses. There is also a children's space.
I would like to thank the people of Ukraine living in Japan and all those who cooperated in opening the cafe.
The Ukrainian local dish “Borschchi”, which was received with the refugees, was delicious and everyone's smile was warmed.
"Druzzy" means "friend" in Ukrainian. We will continue to work hard to provide a place of relaxation for Ukrainian refugees.
