Last Updated May 6, 2022
On May 3 (Tuesday / holiday), we participated in the 70th Zayokohama Parade.
This parade started as an "international costume procession" in 1953 with the desire of its predecessors to hold a major event unique to Yokohama, which has an international port for post-war reconstruction, and since then many people It has become an annual spring event in Yokohama.
This event, which was held for the first time in three years, was blessed with fine weather, with the main theme of "new ship departure" from the COVID-19 pandemic and the flower "rose" of Yokohama City, powerful floats colored with seven colors of rose rainbows, splendid marching and lively dance teams, gathered the thoughts and vitality of citizens who love Yokohama, and we were able to gorgeously transmit the lively appearance of Yokohama.
I would like to thank all those who supported the parade once again.
