We participated in "WFP Walk the World" on Sunday, May 15

Last Updated May 17, 2022

Participated in "WFP Walk the World".
This event aims to eliminate hunger in children in developing countries, the United Nations WFP, the world's largest humanitarian organization. ※This is the 15th charity walk held by Yokohama City.
This event, which was held for the first time in three years, was also very successful, with a former female badminton player Kumiko Ogura, as a guest, and we walked with many citizens while enjoying the unique scenery of Yokohama. Let's continue to excite Yokohama's efforts toward "zero hunger" set forth in one of the SDGs.
※WFP(World Food Programme): World Food Programme

On this day, we took a walk in Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen), where roses are in full bloom. It was really beautiful. Yokohama Rose Week is until June twelfth. I hope you will enjoy the colorful roses and greenery.
