- In response to the Ukrainian people who were sacrificed by the Russian invasion and prayer for peace, we set up a flower arrangement table and donation box at Yokohama City Hall. The funds collected will be sent directly to the Ukrainian Red Cross. At the start, I also offered flowers together with Chairperson Yokohama City Council and Vice Chair.
The city of Odessa, Ukraine is an important friend who has been involved in various exchanges since forming a sister city tie-up in 1965.
Currently, we are preparing for the acceptance of refugees from Ukraine and the support money from the city, and will continue to provide as much support as possible as Yokohama City, a peace messenger city.
