Together with Chairman City Counsil Shimizu, we visited the Embassy of Ukraine and met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan. On behalf of Yokohama City, he expressed his condolences to the people of Ukraine, and talked about the contribution of donation of 20 million yen from Yokohama City and the situation of receiving donations from many citizens for the donations being carried out at the City Hall and other places. The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the support of Yokohama City, and expressed his gratitude for the support of the city of Odessa and the long-term partnership between Yokohama and Odessa.
In the future, Yokohama City will continue to provide as much support as possible for Ukrainian people, including the sister city of Odessa.
