- At today's City Counsil plenary session, we explained the basic policy of municipal administration and the outline of the budget proposal for the fiscal year 2022 and related bills.
Now, after a long-standing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, we are entering an important phase of confronting each other based on the characteristics of the virus and opening up a new future. At this turning point, I will not be afraid of various social issues, but will look at the bright future of Yokohama, and boldly take on challenges.
Our mission is to further enhance the appeal of Yokohama and create a Yokohama that is chosen by many people. And while aiming for sustainable municipal administration, it is to support the safe and secure living of citizens firmly and open up the future of Yokohama.
We will listen carefully to the voices of the citizens, under the dual representation system, hold sincere discussions with the City Counsil, and fulfill our mission with our staff.
