Information related to nursing care personnel

It is said that there is a chronic shortage of labor in the welfare and nursing care services nationwide, and securing welfare personnel has become an important issue especially in the big city of Yokohama.
As the number of elderly people is expected to increase in the future, securing welfare human resources is expected to be severe, so Yokohama City is taking the following measures.

We support corporations that rent new homes for nursing care staff.

[1]The corporation rents housing in the city managed by the Urban Renaissance Agency, the Kanagawa Prefectural Housing Supply Corporation and the Yokohama City Housing Supply Corporation, or private rental housing in the city, [2] the care staff resides, and [3] the care staff engages in local activities. The maximum subsidy per month is 20,000 yen for those who have become newly subsidized care staff since 2023, and 30,000 yen for those who have been subsidized since 2022. It is.

For each application year, you can apply up to four people per facility, except for the number of staff who have already applied by the previous year.
※Do not ask the person to bear the cost of housing leases. However, if the burden of the project implementer exceeds the subsidy of Motoichi, the burden can be requested to the person within the range of the excess amount.

This subsidy will not be subsidized unless care staff lives. The confirmation will be made in resident certificate, so if you decide to live, please transfer resident certificate to your leased residence immediately.

This subsidy is provided that care staff members perform local activities. The corporation consults with people such as Neighborhood Association and decides on local activities performed by the nursing care staff.

For facilities and corporations that accept students studying abroad to become care workers, 1/2 of the tuition fee of Japanese language schools will be subsidized (up to 350,000 yen). However, after graduating from a Japanese language school, you will not be eligible for assistance unless you enter a care worker training school.

For facilities and corporations that accept students aiming to be care workers, the loan amount under the nursing care worker enrollment fund loan system implemented by the social welfare corporation Kanagawa Japan National Council of Social Welfare from the tuition of the nursing care worker vocational school Subsidize the deducted amount (up to 200,000 yen). However, it is a condition that you continue to attend school at a care worker training school or work at a care facility.
※The payment of the subsidy will be made after the completion of the care worker training school and the confirmation of the work schedule at the nursing care facility.
