What is the Kannai-Kangai-District Revitalization Vision?
Currently, in Kannai and Kangai-District, the new city hall is scheduled to be relocated in June 2020 (2020). In addition, a variety of other businesses are being developed, including the renovation and renovation of the Yokohama Stadium and the redevelopment of the Yokohama Culture Gymnasium.
Based on these major changes, considering the revitalization of Kannai and Kangai-District after the relocation of the City Hall, the direction in which citizens, businesses and governments working in this area will work together as the Kannai and Kangai-District Revitalization Vision.

Since the opening of the port, Kannai Kangai-District has developed along with the port as the center of Yokohama, and the history and culture unique to the port town are alive, making it a very important district in the coastal area of central Tokyo. In promoting community development in this area, the Kannai-Kangai-District Revitalization Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) was established in 2012, and the local community and the city have collaborated to accumulate various discussions and initiatives.
