Implementation of open call for participants for "enhancement of various traffic to enjoy the town"

In the coastal area of Yokohama, in order to promote the introduction of various transportation services that make the transportation itself enjoyable, we conducted a public offering in 2017, and received many various proposals from private businesses etc. Was.
In the future, as we proceed with specific studies, we have created a leaflet summarizing the proposals on a map of the city's coastal area so that the overall picture of the proposal can be understood.
In order to realize an attractive world city of Yokohama, we aim to create an area with a high degree of migration where people can freely come and go, and we will promote initiatives through public-private partnerships while determining the possibility of realization for each proposal.

The Master Plan for Revitalizing the City of Yokohama City, which was formulated in 2015, aims to form a coastal area that will continue to shine in the future and to form the city's coastal area as the face of an attractive "world city." Areas of the Master Plan for Revitalizing Urban Coastal Areas, including Yokohama Station, Minato Mirai 21 District, Kannai and Kangai-District.

The cost of maintenance and operation will not be borne by the proposer himself, and will not be borne by the public expenses, and proposals will be solicited in the following three levels.
(1)Proposals that are expected to be able to fully implement projects
(2)Proposals to start initiatives from social experiments
(3)Proposals at the idea level (proposals aiming to conduct full-scale projects or social experiments in the future)

We conduct hearings based on the contents of the proposal, comprehensively evaluate the contents of the proposal, and select a wide range of proposals that may be tackled through public-private partnerships. Regarding the selected proposals, the competent bureau will discuss the feasibility of realization, and will proceed with initiatives according to the maturity of the proposal, such as concluding agreements and memorandums.
